Frequently asked questions

The Trimeszter Pregnancy Vitamin will help you to replenish your stores of vitamins, nutrients and trace minerals to prepare your body for having a baby. Getting pregnant is a huge challenge for your body, and one that it will only take on if you are in good health and general fitness. In other words, you should start taking the Trimester when you and your partner decide that the baby is ready.

Trimeszter is a vitamin for pregnant women, designed to replenish your body’s stores of nutrients to help you get pregnant and carry your baby to term, or breastfeed. How long you should take the Trimeszter varies from person to person, as each body is unique.

After giving birth, the Trimester does not have to stop, in fact. The breastfeeding period is also an extra demand on the mother’s body, so increased intake of minerals, trace elements and vitamins is also important to ensure that milk production is uninterrupted. Trimeszter 3 will also help you during this period.

The Trimester Pregnancy Vitamin is specially formulated and is divided into trimester-specific vitamins. Trimeszter 1, from the time you plan to have your baby until the end of the first trimester (12 weeks after conception), Trimeszter 2 from the second trimester (12-28 weeks) and Trimeszter 3 from the third trimester (28 weeks) until the end of breastfeeding, helps to keep your body full of nutrients, trace elements and vitamins.

Trimeszter vitamins contain organically bound substances, which is very important as it provides much better absorption and utilisation than inorganically bound substances. In order to combine these vitamins, trace elements and minerals, the daily dose had to be divided into two, larger tablets. This means that in a box of Trimesters you will find 60 tablets, which is a month’s supply. It is recommended that you take the two tablets at the same time, in the evening, with plenty of liquid.

You don’t need to stop taking Trimeszter during illness or when you’re on your period, you can take it as it will still work. If you are already pregnant, you can still take the Trimeszter continuously without interruption.

Exception: the organic form of magnesium may prevent the onset of labour, which has so far prevented the risk of early miscarriage and preterm birth. In the last weeks of the last trimester, the predictive contractions and labour pains should start. An exception to this is all our Trimeszter 3 products, which we recommend stopping two weeks before the expected date of delivery. However, during the breastfeeding period, continued consumption of our Trimeszter 3 products is recommended.

Many people find that taking Trimeszter vitamins can mess up their periods. Well, the good news is that it’s not messed up, it’s recovering. The primary function of the organism is to sustain life, and only secondarily to reproduce. This means that functions that are not needed to sustain life are limited if you do not have access to adequate amounts and quality of vitamins, minerals and trace elements. The ‘confusion’ is caused by the fact that the menstrual cycle has been poor, inadequate or even restrained in its role because the nutrient stores have not been replenished. Trimeszter is now topping them up, so your periods will start to return to normal. But it takes a little time, and during this transition period you may find that Trimeszter has messed up your menstrual cycle.

In principle, yes, but you should definitely watch out for certain substances. Vitamin D, vitamin E, vitamin A and vitamin K are fat-soluble compounds that can be overdosed. This is very difficult for their water-soluble counterparts, but for the vitamins listed, the amounts recommended in international recommendations should not be exceeded. Overdosing is very bad for the body, so take the amounts listed on the boxes of Trimeszter vitamins into account when you want to take other products with our vitamin for pregnant women.

There is also a risk of overdosing if you are taking zinc and/or copper preparations at the same time as Trimeszters. Please pay extra attention to the quantities set by international recommendations in this case too!

It is important to note that other substances contained in the product can also be overdosed, so if you want to take a supplement to Trimeszters, consult with your doctor.
